This multimillion-dollar project will be the first 100MW capacity Solar PV manufacturing plant to be constructed in Nigeria which is expected to deliver 264,000 panels and 50,000 SHS kits annually.
Off-take agreements have been secured from key partners such as One-Watt Solar, Odua Investment Company (OICL), CESEL, and other sponsor owned projects. Combined offtake capacity is at c.160% of plant output.
The project is being conducted under the World Bank/REA Solar Naija program. It aims to deliver electricity connections to 22,520 households utilizing a hybrid Mini-grid solution.
LPV Energies has completed engagements with twenty-four (24) communities across Kogi, Benue and Nasarawa states. The company will adopt an Energy-As-A-Service (EAS) model and will deploy its proprietary Pay as You Go (PAYG) system for revenue collection.
